Highbush Cranberry – Viburnum trilobum

Highbush cranberry shrubs fruit in late summer with edible berries that taste best after frost and when picked slightly under-ripe. Native Viburnums offer excellent support for wildlife and pollinators, serving as host plants to numerous butterflies and moths. They flower profusely whether or not pollination occurs.
